After obtaining its clearing membership of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and London Metal Exchange, BOC International was granted the clearing membership of the European Intercontinental Exchange, becoming the first Chinese financial institution that enjoys clearing membership of the world's major commodity exchanges.
Recently BOCI also got the permit to carry out the business of futures brokerage in the United States. The company is now intensifying its efforts in making the layout of the commodities business in the world's major financial markets, and accelerating the establishment of a platform for global commodity business.
