The other day, the release ceremony of the seventh 21st Century Asian Finance annual conference and 2012 Research Report on Asian Banks Competitiveness Ranking was held in Beijing. By virtue of outstanding performance in corporate social responsibility, Bank of China won the prize of “Best Social Responsibility Bank in Asia”.
With long-term adherence to the social responsibility working philosophy of “serving society, devoting society and return to the society”, BOC has made positive contributions in such aspects as poverty alleviation, education support and development of cultural undertakings over the years by actively participating in the building of a harmonious society.
First launched by the 21st Century Business Herald, the 21st Century Asian Finance annual conference is held in Beijing every year since 2006, and the 2012 Research Report on Asian Banks Competitiveness Ranking jointly launched by the herald, the school of Business Administration of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
