Recently, Bank of China put into operation Chinese Business Desk in the head office of the Northern Merchants’ Bank(aka Banorte) in Mexico，which makes it the third one in Latin America.
Chinese Business Desk is designed to provide the most efficient financial service for local enterprises and Chinese enterprise operating in Mexico. By utilizing the service network and products of Banorte, the desk endeavors to extend BOC ‘s global service network , explore business opportunities while helping to solve customers’ problems. Before this one, BOC has established such business desk in Peru and Chile.
As an integral part of BOC overseas business development strategy and institution layout, Chinese Business Desk is established, by partnering with overseas agent banks in regions where BOC has not set up operating outlets, to provide financial services for the “Go Global” Chinese enterprises and local enterprises doing business with China.
