On May 21, BOC Singapore Branch and BOC Tianjin Branch reached a memorandum of cooperation with Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Investment and Development Co., Ltd. (Eco-City JV). For the next three years, BOC will provide a package of financing and relevant services worth of 8 billion yuan (equivalent to 1.6 billion Singapore dollars) to Singaporean enterprises intending to invest in Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City (SSTEC).
Under the memorandum, Singaporean enterprises will be prioritized when applying for financial services such as company loan, trade financing and project financing. Besides, Eco-City JV will work with BOC to present a series of activities to encourage Singaporean enterprises to invest in SSTEC. This also marks the first time for the BOC Singapore Branch to participate in a Sino-Singapore intergovernmental project in serving Singaporean enterprises.
According to unknown official of BOC Singapore Branch, SSTEC will attract a growing number of enterprises by its superior location, advanced development plan and friendly living facilities. BOC Singapore Branch and BOC Tianjin Branch will, to its best effort, pertain to their professional advantages in providing convenient, efficient and all-round financial services to Singaporean enterprises intending to invest in SSTEC.
Located at the Tianjin Binhai New Area, SSTEC is an iconic Sino-Singapore project expected to build a modern city for 350,000 residents.
