"2013 CCTV China Listed Company Summit" has recently released "CCTV Finance and Economics 50 Indexes · 2013 Annual Sample Stocks". Among over 2,000 Chinese listed companies participating in this appraisal, Bank of China，with its excellent performance in corporate governance，was selected as the index sample stock for the third consecutive year and won the "Best 10 Companies in Corporate Governance" again.
"CCTV Finance and Economics 50 Indexes" was first released in 2011 and listed in Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2012. It is the first A-share market index published by authoritative media and listed in stock exchange in China.
The sample stocks of "CCTV Finance and Economics 50 Index" are comprised of 50 A-share listed companies and adjusted annually. Every year the index selects the leading index sample stocks on the basis of five dimensions that are innovation, growth, revenue, governance and social responsibility, and also select the best 10 companies in each of the five dimensions.
Bank of China has been constantly optimizing its corporate governance, adjusting to supervision requirements and carrying out explorations to promote board decision-making, optimize the relationship among stakeholders and improve corporate governance.
