BOC's Brand Value Tops 13.6 billion US Dollars

On December 3, Millward Brown, a brand and market research company under the world-famous media group WPP, released the list of “2014 BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Chinese Brands”. According to thelist , BOC ranked 7th with a brand value of 13.6billion US dollars, one place up from last year.

The brand value of “BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Chinese Brands” was calculated by an independent team, sponsored by WPP, the world’s largest media and communication group. All brands listed must stand up to extremely rigid evaluation standards. As one of the most authoritative brand value lists, the list has been released annually since 2010. BOC has ranked among the top 10 for four years in a row.

As China’s only financial enterprise which has operated continuously for a century as well as China's most internationalized and diversified bank, BOC has been listed among GSIFI for three consecutive years. BOC's brand value has been increasing in recent years. In 2013, BOC garnered a collection of major awards like “Top 100 Socially Responsible State-owned Listed Enterprises”, “Best Financial Enterprise Image Award” and “Best Foreign Exchange Transaction Bank”, and was the only Chinese enterprise listed among Fortune Global 500 for 25 consecutive years.
