Lately, Bank of China officially opened its Khorgas International Border Cooperation Center Sub-branch, which is one of the first financial institutions setting up a branch at this center.
The business scope of this new sub-branch includes deposits, loans, settlement, credit cards, and other financial services, overseas special RMB financing accounts, RMB bank settlement and use for overseas institutions and other cross-border RMB business.
China-Kazakhstan Khorgas International Border Cooperation Center is a national strategic project determined by the heads of state of the two countries, and the first cross-border economic trade zone and investment cooperation center in the world. This new sub-branch, by exerting the internationalization advantages of BOC, will vigorously explore new financial business and diverse derivative products to provide excellent and efficient financial services to local customers.
