On June 24, Ge Haijiao, Chairman of Bank of China Limited, held talks with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh in Tianjin. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on implementing the major consensus reached by the two national leaders and deepening mutually beneficial cooperation across key areas including building landmark infrastructure projects, developing Vietnam’s international financial center, and supporting Bank of China’s growth in Vietnam.
On the same day, Chairman Ge also attended the China-Vietnam Business Forum, where he exchanged views with participants on taking advantage of development opportunities that come with the 75th anniversary of China-Vietnam diplomatic relations and on enhancing bilateral trade and economic relations.
