Thank you for your constant support for Bank of China. To provide you with better service, we plan to upgrade the system of "personal long/short forex facility, long/short gold facility" services ("long/short forex facility" services) as scheduled below:
Ⅰ. "Long/short forex facility" service will be suspended from 0:00, March 30 till 8:00, April 6, 2011. Upon completion of the system upgrade, the former customer security control of this service will not be available for transaction, but still has the function of historical data inquiry. You are required to download and install the new customer security control to log on and handle long/short forex facility transactions. As it is necessary to verify e-Token to logon on the new customer security control, customers have to open the new online banking and obtain e-Token at any outlets of the bank. . And customers can also handle the transactions by telephone banking or over the counter after the system upgrade.
For new customer security control and operation instruction after the system upgrade, please log on the official website of Bank of China Zhejiang Branch (http://www.zj.bank-of-china.com) for download, or call the bank's customer service hotline 95566 or any local outlets.
Ⅱ. As quotations of international foreign exchange and gold markets are still available during the suspension of the service, please adjust positions or take other proper risk prevention measures in advance.
Ⅲ. When the services run normal at 8:00, April, 6 2011, the transaction system will renew its function to calculate roll-forward profit and loss in terms of customers' overnight position in accordance with "Agreement of Personal Long/Short Forex Facility and Gold Facility Transaction in Bank of China Zhejiang Branch".
Ⅳ. Except for the suspension period, customers of "personal margin exchange trading" with 1:10 multiplying power and no position closing can still handle operations of position closing for positions through the "ong/short Forex facility" system but no position-opening transaction will be handled.
