Notice on New Funds for Online Banking Purchase at Preferential Rates (April 13)

Bank of China will provide preferential rates for online banking purchase of BOC Global Strategy Security Investment Fund (FOF) (front-end code: 163813) from April 13, 2011.  During the applicable period, by purchase of the above funds through Bank of China online banking, investors will enjoy the following preferential rates upon successful deduction: if the purchase rate is higher than 0.6%, 20% discount is available (i.e. effective purchase rate = the original purchase rate × 0.8), if the preferential rate is lower than 0.6%, 0.6% shall prevail; and if the original purchase rate is lower than 0.6%, the original one shall prevail.  The preference is only applicable to the front-end load of open-end funds within the normal purchase period, while the back-end load is excluded. The following funds will enjoy the preferential rates for online banking purchase:
