Notice on the System Upgrade for Long/Short Forex Facility Services in Jiangsu Branch
Dear customers,
Thank you for your kind attention and support to Bank of China. To provide you with better service, we plan to upgrade the system of personal Two-way Forex Facility, Two-way Gold Facility services (Long/Short Forex Facility services) as follows:
Ⅰ. Long/Short Forex Facility services will be suspended from 04:00, May 26 till 08:00 June 7, 2011 and will run normal after that.
Ⅱ. As quotations in international foreign exchange and gold markets are still available during the service suspension period, please adjust positions or take other proper risk prevention measures in advance.
Ⅲ. Except for the service suspension period, customers of "personal margin exchange trading" with 1:10 multiplying power and no position closing can still handle operations of position closing through the Long/Short Forex Facility system but no position-opening transaction will be handled.
Ⅳ. Upon completion of the system upgrade, the former customer security control of this service will not be available for transaction. Customers are required to download and install the new customer security control to log on and handle Long/Short Forex Facility transactions. As it is necessary to log on to the new customer security control through e-Token verification, customers with no e-Token are recommended to obtain it at any outlets of the bank for timely transaction of Long/Short Forex Facility services.
For new customer security control and operation instruction after the system upgrade, please log on to the official website of Bank of China (http://www.boc.cn) for download.
Ⅴ. During the service suspension period, the transaction system will suspend calculating customers' roll-forward profit and loss for overnight positions, which shall be resumed when the services run normal at 08:00, June 7, 2011.

Tips: Customers should be cautious about fraudulency as Bank of China's staff will never ask for customers' information, such as user ID, password and e-Token.

Notice on the System Upgrade for Long/Short Forex Facility Services in Shanghai Branch
Dear customers,
Thank you for your kind attention and support to Bank of China. To provide you with better service, we plan to upgrade the system of personal Two-way Forex Facility, Two-way Gold Facility services (Long/Short Forex Facility services) as follows:
Ⅰ. Long/Short Forex Facility services will be suspended from 08:00, May 30 till 08:00 June 7, 2011 and run normal after that.
Upon completion of the system upgrade, the former customer security control of this service will not be available for transaction. Customers are required to download and install the new customer security control to log on and handle Long/Short Forex Facility transactions. As it is necessary to log on to the new customer security control through e-Token verification, customers with no e-Token are recommended to obtain it at any outlets of the bank for timely transaction of "Long/Short forex facility" services.
For new customer security control and operation instruction after the system upgrade, please log on to the official website of Bank of China Limited (http：//www.boc.cn) for download; or download the attached Long/Short Forex Facility Operation Instruction (Upgraded) for details of the new system.
In addition, to reward customers for the continuous support to Long/Short Forex Facility services, Bank of China will reduce spreads of overnight deposit lending rates and provide customers with quality trading services through new channels of telephone banking and counter services.
