Dear customers,
To provide you with more diversified and better financial products and services, we plan to upgrade our banking system in branches of Shanghai, Jiangsu and Suzhou (the three branches). During the upgrade period, services of corporate online banking will be unavailable. The details are listed below:
On June 3, 2011, corporate customers will be unable to apply for the corporate online banking service over the counters, nor will the registered customers be able to use the online banking services during the following periods:

In addition, some functions of corporate online banking services will be affected as follows:
1. Agency collection and payment services: Online banking will suspend transactions of agency collection, agency payment, electronic collection, business credit card repayment and other volume businesses submitted in batch from 12:00, June 2, 2011. Relevant transactions successfully submitted after that time will be postponed to 10:00, June 6, 2011.
2. Domestic inter-bank remittance and online banking inter-bank cash management services:
(1) Online banking will suspend services of domestic inter-bank remittance transactions (including various spot and forward transactions) under RMB 50,000 (inclusive) concerning accounts of the three branches from 15:00, June 3, 2011, and will resume normal at 18:00, June 6,2011;
(2) Online banking will suspend services of domestic inter-bank remittance transactions (including various spot and forward transactions) above RMB 50,000 concerning accounts of the three branches from 16:30, June 3, 2011, and will resume normal at 8:30, June 7, 2011;
(3) Online banking will suspend services of online banking inter-bank cash management transactions concerning accounts of the three branches from 15:30, June 3, 2011, and will resume normal at 10:00, June 6, 2011; online banking will suspend services of online banking inter-bank cash management concerning accounts of the 26 branches in Hebei, Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, Ningxia, Xinjiang, Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou, Yunnan, Tibet, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Jiangxi, Anhui, Henan, Hainan, Shandong, Beijing, Tianjin, Liaoning, Zhejiang, Fujian and Ningbo from 19:00, June 3, 2011, and will resume normal at 9:00, June 6, 2011;
3. Online customs declaration services: Online Customs declaration (guarantees for online duty payment) services submitted by corporate customers during the period from 22:00, June 5 to 0:30, June 6, 2011 will be postponed to 0:30, June 6, 2011;
4. Return of goods for online payment: Transactions of bulk order return submitted by online payment merchants after 19:00, June 1, 2011 will be postponed to 9:00, June 6, 2011;
5. Account inquiry services: Online banking will suspend services including the historical trading inquiry, payment received information inquiry and trading inquiry for customers at 22:00, June 3, 2011, and will resume normal at 9:00, June 6, 2011;
6. Electronic drafts: Online banking will suspend services of electronic commercial draft issuance at 20:00, June 3, 2011, and will resume normal at 9:00, June 6, 2011.
The system upgrade will add B2C and B2B online payment web pages and order information item to the electronic commerce service, and add mobile phone trading code verification to payment agreement signing and trading alteration; optimize displays of reversals in intraday trading inquiry, historical trading inquiry, and signatory customers' trading inquiry; and add the bank-corporate interfacing service and bulk issuance of drafts to electronic commercial draft service.
We will try our best to shorten the period of service suspension. If the actual suspension period is shortened during the above mentioned period, your transactions via online banking shall be handled as normal and all relevant transactions herein shall be regarded as valid.
