Dear customers,
To provide you with better financial products and services, we plan to upgrade the banking system in branches of Hunan, Hubei and Guangxi ("the three branches") in the coming days. During the system upgrade, Bank of China personal online banking, mobile banking and home banking will be unavailable. The details are listed below:
Customers will be unable to log on to Bank of China personal online banking, mobile banking and home banking or use the online payment, mobile payment and TV payment services from 0:00 to 9:00, July 25, 2011; customers cannot conduct online banking, mobile banking, home banking, online payment, mobile payment and TV payment transactions concerning accounts with the three branches from 18:00, July 22 to 12:00, July 25; customers will not be able to conduct online banking, mobile banking, online payment and mobile payment transactions concerning accounts with branches of Hebei, Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, Xinjiang, Ningxia, Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Tibet, Chongqing, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Jiangxi, Anhui, Henan, Hainan, Shandong, Beijing, Tianjin, Liaoning, Fujian, Zhejiang, Ningbo, Shanghai, Jiangsu and Suzhou from 20:00, July 24 to 9:00, July 25.
Scheduled transactions concerning accounts with the three branches to be conducted on July 23 or 24 via online banking or mobile banking will not be handled then.
In addition, some services of personal online banking and mobile banking will be adjusted as below:
1. Domestic inter-bank remittance and inter-bank cash management:
(1) Online banking and mobile banking will be unavailable to domestic inter-bank remittance transactions (including spot and scheduled transactions) with the amount below RMB 50,000 (inclusive) concerning accounts with the three branches from 15:00, July 22, 2011, and be available from 12:00, July 25.
(2) Online banking and mobile banking will be unavailable to domestic inter-bank remittance transactions (including spot and scheduled transactions) with the amount above RMB 50,000 concerning accounts with the three branches from 16:30, July 22, 2011, and be available from 12:00, July 25.
(3) Online banking and mobile banking will be unavailable to inter-bank cash management (inter-bank superlink) transactions (including management of accounts with other banks, management of accounts with Bank of China and inter-bank collection and payment) concerning accounts with the three branches from 16:00, July 22, 2011, and be available from 16:00, July 25.
2. Investment & wealth management transactions:
(1) Fund trading:
Fund trading (including entry orders and fund information inquiry) via online banking and mobile banking will be suspended for accounts with the three branches from 16:00, July 20 to 10:00, July 25.
(2) Small amount foreign exchange purchase and sale:
Small amount foreign exchange purchase and sale via online banking will be suspended for accounts with the three branches from 17:00, July 22 to 9:00, July 25.
(3) Foreign exchange and gold trading:
Foreign exchange and gold trading via online banking and mobile banking will be suspended for accounts with the three branches from 18:00, July 19 to 12:00, July 25.
(4) B-share bank/securities transfer:
B-share bank/securities transfer via online banking and mobile banking will be suspended for accounts with the three branches from 15:00, July 22 to 9:00, July 25.
(5) Book-entry T-bond:
Book-entry T-bond services via online banking and mobile banking will be suspended for accounts with the three branches from 16:00, July 20 to 10:00, July 25.
(6) Bank of China Wealth Management Plan I:
Bank of China Wealth Management Plan I via online banking and mobile banking will be suspended for accounts with the three branches from 16:00, July 22 to 10:00, July 25. And the service will also be unavailable for accounts with branches of Hebei, Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, Xinjiang, Ningxia, Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Tibet, Chongqing, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Jiangxi, Anhui, Henan, Hainan, Shandong, Beijing, Tianjin, Liaoning, Fujian, Zhejiang, Ningbo, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Suzhou, Guangdong and Shenzhen from 18:00, July 22 to 10:00, July 25.
We will try our best to shorten the period of service suspension. If the actual suspension period is shorter than the aforementioned period, the system will process your transactions as normal and all relevant transactions will be regarded as valid.
