Dear customers,
We plan to upgrade our E-banking systems from 00:00 to 05:00, August 28, 2011 (Beijing Time) for providing customers with diversified functions and improved user experience. During the period, Bank of China online banking (BOCNET), mobile banking and home banking services will be unavailable. The three functions of corporate online banking including inquiry of contract customers, historical transactions and vostro accounts information will be unavailable from 23:00, August 27 to 15:30, August 28 (Beijing Time). In addition, customers of Shanghai, Zhejiang and Jiangsu's integrated online payment system (new customs declaration) cannot use the system to declare from 00:00 to 05:00, August 28 (Beijing Time). Please accept our apology for any inconvenience caused and thanks for your understanding.
I. Details of online banking service upgrading
1. Personal online banking services
(1) Improve credit card services. New services of credit card including online instalment payment and supplementary cards management will be provided by personal online banking, thus improving credit card function setting (including credit card service setting and credit card bill management functions). Meanwhile, credit card repayment functions are also available under the menu of transfer & remittance, meeting customers' diversified demands for credit card services.
(2) Add the pension services. BOCNET provides individual customers with business inquiry functions of supplementary pension, supplementary provident fund and other complementary pension plans, as well as the declaration functions of some businesses. (The management and inquiry services of basic endowment insurance are still provided by the social security fund management center of various localities). Contracted customers of Bank of China personal online banking for supplementary pension custody shall inquire account information and business information (payment, investment returns, payoff, transfer, account transfer and public account interests distribution) via online banking, and conduct business declaration (information change) and other operations.
(3) Enable customers to print transaction vouchers via self-service. For online transfer & remittance transactions conducted successfully, customers can print corresponding electronic transaction vouchers on the transaction details page.
2. Corporate online banking services
(1) Newly added USB Key authentication method. Corporate customers who apply for USB Key authentication may log on to online banking via the "CA logon" method, and should use USB Key for transaction authentication.
(2) Change of electronic commercial draft services' safety certificate method. According to relevant provisions of the People's Bank of China, corporate customers who apply for electronic commercial draft services shall use USB Key for transaction authentication.
(3) Newly added "loan services" inquiry functions. Customers of SME Version and Group Standard Version (only for individual customers) may inquire loan accounts, historical repayment information, overdue account information and remaining repayment information via online banking.
(4) Optimization of Bank of China's account inquiry functions. Optimized Bank of China account inquiry services include inquiry of today's balance, today's transactions, contract customers' transactions, historical balance, historical transactions, the former "online banking inward remittance inquiry" and "vostro accounts information inquiry" are integrated into "contract customers' transactions inquiry"; Integrated "contract customers' transactions inquiry" functions are available to all customers of Bank of China corporate online banking, which enable customers to inquire transaction details immediately and download inquiry results.
3. E-Commerce services
(1) The newly added B2B contractual payment services provide customers with transfer of margin to taxes and E-Commerce payment services.
(2) In case of any of the following three circumstances, Bank of China's system will automatically send emails or SMS to customers' mobile phone number left over the counter: customers have used 80% of the guarantee limit, there are 45 days to the maturity of the guarantee limit and insufficient balance in the account.
II. Business rules adjustment of online banking services
Bank of China adjusts its business rules of online banking services concurrently, please refer to Business Rules of Bank of China Personal Online Banking and Business Rules of Bank of China Corporate Online Banking for details.
We will try our best to shorten the period of service suspension. If the actual suspension time is shortened during the above mentioned period. Customers' transactions via online banking, mobile banking and home banking shall be handled as normal. And all relevant transactions herein shall be regarded as effective.
