Announcement on Suspension of Business and Services of Bank of China Due to System Upgrading

Dear customers,

To provide you with better financial services, we plan to upgrade our banking systems in Guangdong and Shenzhen branches (the two branches) from 18:00, September 9, to 18:00, September 12, 2011 (Beijing Time). During the upgrading period, some business and services in certain regions will be unavailable. The details are listed below:

* Note: "upgraded branches" refer to the branches in Hebei, Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, Ningxia, Xinjiang, Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou, Yunnan, Tibet, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Jiangxi, Anhui, Henan, Hainan, Shandong, Beijing, Tianjin, Liaoning, Zhejiang, Fujian, Ningbo, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Suzhou, Hunan, Hubei and Guangxi.
