Ⅰ. Competition Period
Three natural months from 00:00 AM of September 1 to 24:00 PM November 30, 2011 (Beijing time), with one natural month as a competition period.
Ⅱ. Trading Products
Forex facility, gold facility and long/short Forex facility
Ⅲ. Participants
Customers who open the relevant accounts at any outlet of Bank of China Shanxi Branch and make transactions of Forex facility, gold facility, or long/short Forex facility within the duration of the competition will be able to participate in this activity automatically without registration (unless a customer submits a written statement to the bank indicating that he/she will give up the competition). Only transactions made during the competition will be included in the statistics. The statistics shall be subject to the data recorded in the bank's system.
Ⅳ. Trading Methods
Customers can participate in the competition by making transactions via the counters, self-service terminals, online banking, telephone banking, long/short Forex facility client and other channels.
Ⅴ. Awards Standards
Awards of this competition will be given according to the ranking of accumulative volume of foreign exchange and gold trading within a competition period. Foreign exchange trading volume covers the trading of Forex facility and two-way Forex facility, and gold trading volume covers gold facility and two-way gold facility, which will be calculated in RMB.
Ⅵ. Prizes
One first prize, three second prize and six third prize for each competition period will be produced according to the accumulative trading volume of the customers.

Ⅶ. Deals and Discounts
During the competition, customers enjoys preferential spread according to the trading amount for gold trading.
Ⅷ. Announcement of Winners
Bank of China Shanxi Branch will announce the list of winners for the last month via www.boc.cn after the conclusion of each competition period. Winners shall verify the winning information through the official website of Bank of China rather than other channels upon receiving the notice by call, so as to avoid the fraud. In case of failure to contact a winner due to wrong information provided by the customer, Bank of China Shanxi Branch will keep the prize for 30 days after the date of notice. Failure to collect the prize in time will be deemed as a waiver.
Ⅸ. Risk Disclosure
Foreign exchange and gold price may fluctuate with the political or economic factors and other emergency events in the world. Customers shall be aware of the investment risks besides the opportunities, and be liable for all the results arising from their investment behaviors.

Bank of China Shanxi Branch will do its best to guarantee the smooth process of the trading competition, however, it shall not be responsible for any loss arising from the interruption of trade, abnormal offering or suspension due to the telecom fault or other force majeure accidents.
