Details
1. Gift upon Agreement Signed for Overseas Study:
From now to September 30, 2011, customers can get a multifunctional plug adapter after signing the Bank of China Comprehensive Financial Service Agreement for Overseas Study and obtaining the Bank of China Financial Service Passport for Overseas Study.
2. Gift Before Going Abroad for Study:
From now to September 30, 2011, customers can enjoy the following preferences by applying for three or more specified financial services for overseas study.
(1) A travelling bag
(2) Lucky draw organized by Bank of China Sichuan Branch when the activity ends:
- 10 first prizes, with a gift worth RMB 300 for each winner;
- 20 second prizes, with a gift worth RMB 200 for each winner;
- 30 third prizes, with a gift worth RMB 100 for each winner.
(3) No annual fee for Globe-in-One Credit Cards for the first year, and no such fee for the second year with five card payment transactions
(4) A fee of RMB 200 waived for surety for overseas account opening
The specified financial services for overseas study include loans for overseas study (in RMB or foreign currencies), surety for overseas account opening, outward remittance, traveler's cheque, Bank of China Credit Cards, Bank of China insurance card for overseas study and foreign exchange purchase and sale by individual customers.
3. Gift on Loans for Overseas Study:
From now to September 30, 2011, customers applying for loans for overseas study can get a plug adapter, as well as have the fee for issuing a deposit proof or a loan certificate waived.
4. Gift on Traveler's Cheque:
(1) Preference on handling fee:
From now to September 30, 2011, the preferential rate for purchasing traveler's cheques is as follows:
- 0.5% for a purchase less than USD 10,000 (inclusive) or equivalent;
- 0.4% for a purchase between USD 10,000 and USD 30,000 (inclusive) or equivalent;
- 0.3% for a purchase over USD 30,000 or equivalent.
(2) Lucky draw:
Customers are entitled to a lucky draw upon purchasing traveler's cheques equivalent to at least USD 5,000.
Award: A collector's edition of American Express traveler's cheque made of gold foil
Five winners (nationwide) will be produced for each month.
(3) Gifts for certain amount purchased:
- An interior organizer for purchase of traveler's cheques equivalent to at least USD 5,000;
- A backpack for purchase of traveler's cheques equivalent to at least USD 10,000;
- A trolley case for purchase of traveler's cheques equivalent to at least USD 15,000.

6. Gift on Foreign Exchange:
From now to September 30, 2011, by purchasing foreign exchange, customers can get reward points which can be redeemed for gifts. Rules: USD 1 or equivalent = One reward point
- 25,000 reward points at least = a RMB 50 mobile recharge card;
- 45,000 reward points at least = a RMB 100 mobile recharge card.
Notes
1. The gifts offered to the contracted customers are subject to the final delivery.
2. The list of winners will be published on Bank of China's official website (www.boc.cn) before October 20, 2011. The winners should register and collect their gifts at the outlets of Bank of China with valid certificates, and the outlets should record the winners' name, ID card number, contact number, employer and home address.
