Participants
During the activity, all customers who make personal gold facility or personal two-way gold facility transactions at Bank of China Beijing Branch will automatically participate in the competition without special application (except that the customer submits a written objection statement to the bank). Customers can make transactions with their existing gold facility and two-way gold facility accounts, or such accounts opened during the competition.
The participants shall abide by the rules of the competition. Bank of China will publish the trading information of the winners on its website. If the customers disagree with the disclosure of their trading information, it will be deemed as a waiver.
Requirements
Participants shall abide by the relevant laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and the rules of the competition. Every account for "gold facility" or "two-way gold facility" transactions at Bank of China Beijing Branch is a participation unit.
Participation Channels
Customers can make such transactions via the counters, telephone banking, online banking, self-service trading terminals, or two-way facility clients of Bank of China Beijing Branch. The transaction details shall be subject to the records of the bank's system.
Trading Method and Minimum Transaction Amount
Customers are required to use their own accounts and funds for such transactions. The minimum transaction amount required for the competition is subject to the minimum one for the corresponding products.
Trading Products
Both the "local currency gold" and the "USD gold" of Bank of China's "gold facility" and "two-way gold facility" are eligible for competition.
Award Criteria
The awards will be assessed according to the transaction volume and the yield. The awards will be arranged in the descending order according to the accumulative yield and transaction volume respectively during the the competition.
Only the account with an accumulative transaction amount over USD 50,000 (inclusive) during the competition is eligible for the award by yield.
The top 6 to 105 customers in terms of the transaction volume will win the transaction volume contribution prize.

Competition Result
The result will be announced on Bank of China's website within five working days after the competition.
Bank of China will give a further notice on the way and time for prize collection. In case of failure to contact a winner due to wrong information provided by the customer, Bank of China will keep the prize for 30 days after the date of notice. Failure to collect the prize in time will be deemed as a waiver.
Account Funds
The assessment of the competition shall be subject to the transactions with the real fund of participants' accounts, and the transaction risk shall be undertaken by the participants.
The competition takes each account as one unit. If a customer has two or more transaction accounts, the ranking will be made according to the transaction volume of his/her single account rather than the accumulative volume of all his/her accounts.
Force Majeure
Customers shall fully understand that Bank of China is not responsible for any loss arising from transaction interruption, suspension or abnormality due to any telecom fault or incident beyond human control.
Bank of China announces the real-time price of the gold facility and two-way gold facility in the international foreign exchange market within the specified trading period, and handles the customers' trading applications according to the offered price and the currencies designated by the customers.
The international gold price may fluctuate due to political and economical influences as well as emergencies. Customers shall be aware of the investment risk besides the opportunity, and be liable for all the results arising from their investment behaviors.
Interpretation Right
Bank of China Beijing Branch reserves the right of final interpretation of the rules of this competition.
