Forward Exchange Transactions
A forward exchange transaction is a contract between a client and a bank to conduct a foreign exchange transaction at a future date.
FX European Vanilla Option
A foreign exchange (FX) European vanilla option grants the holder the right, but not the obligation, to purchase or sell a specified amount of foreign currency at a predetermined strike price on a designated future date.
Foreign Currency Swap
A foreign currency swap is where a customer enters into a foreign exchange swap agreement with a bank.
Foreign Currency Interest Rate Swap
A foreign currency interest rate swap is a transaction in which the client and bank agree to exchange interest cash flows based on the same notional foreign currency amount according to predetermined rules on settlement dates, with netting settlement.
Cross Currency Swap
A cross currency swap is a transaction in which the client and bank agree to exchange interest and/or principal cash flows in different currencies based on predetermined rules and principal amounts on settlement dates.
Spot Foreign Exchange Transactions
Spot foreign exchange transactions refer to the financial services banks provide to convert one currency into another for customers.
