Product Introduction
A letter of reference is a written document that certifies a corporate client’s credit standing and transaction history with the Bank. It is primarily used in scenarios of pre-qualification or bidding stages of engineering, trade, or service projects; documentary presentation under letters of credit or other settlement activities; registration and filing with government authorities; shortlisting or annual review for government, large enterprise or institution e-commerce platforms.
A letter of credit intention for project tendering/bidding is a written document issued during the tender invitation or pre-qualification stage of an engineering project, in which the Bank makes a conditional commitment to provide certain credit support to the bidder upon successful bid award. This includes conditional undertakings to issue bank guarantees.
