Host-to-Host (H2H) Connection

The BOC host-to-host connection is a standardized interface platform built to achieve a seamless connection between corporate financial systems and the BOC online banking system. Through a direct connection between the bank and the corporate financial system, BOC provides online financial services to enterprises, enabling secure, automated, touchless, and fully traceable direct data exchanges.

Service Features:

Standardized platform: The BOC host-to-host connection supports both message-based interfaces using XML data formats and file-based interfaces using the ISO20022 data format, making it compatible with various financial or treasury management software. Enterprises can convert instructions from their financial or treasury management systems into BOC's standard host-to-host connection data format and send transaction instructions to be processed by BOC's back-end systems.

Rich functionality: The BOC host-to-host connection offers a wide range of services, including balance inquiries, transaction inquiries, transfers and remittances, payroll services, reimbursement services, time deposits, call deposits, large-denomination certificates of deposit, bank-enterprise reconciliations, domestic foreign currency transfers, cross-border outward remittances, cross-border inward remittances, foreign exchange settlements, international settlement documents, electronic commercial drafts, cash management, global fund management, and global cash pools, meeting the fund management needs of large and medium-sized enterprises as well as multinational corporations.

Automated processing: Through the BOC host-to-host connection channel, once corporate financial staff complete all necessary reviews and authorizations in their financial or treasury management system, transaction instructions are securely and automatically transmitted to BOC. This eliminates secondary data entry, enabling easy handling of high-volume, high-frequency online transactions while effectively preventing operational risks. Enterprises can also download transaction information into their financial or treasury management systems for automatic reconciliation of accounts receivable and payable.

Rapid Responsiveness: Payments and collection information can be proactively pushed to the corporate financial or treasury management system, helping enterprises gain real-time, dynamic, and accurate insights into the stock, flow, and direction of all funds. This provides a more comprehensive and timely reflection of capital information.

High security: The BOC host-to-host connection supports both public network and dedicated line connections and uses the HTTPS secure communications protocol to ensure system and network security. Additionally, it provides clients with digital security certificates issued by the China Financial Certification Authority, or CFCA, which use digital encryption and digital signatures to guarantee the confidentiality, authenticity, integrity and non-repudiation of transactions.
