Since 2022, Bank of China has been supporting the Cultural Silk Road Initiative launched by the China International Culture Association, assisting with hosting a wide range of cultural exchange activities aimed at fostering cross-cultural communication and mutual understanding among people worldwide.
In October 2025, BOC sponsored a Mid-Autumn Festival celebration in Budapest, Hungary. The event celebrated the richness of Chinese traditional culture and poetry, conveyed heartfelt wishes, and strengthened international friendship.

In September 2025, the French edition of the "Nihao China" travel guide was launched in major bookstores and kiosks across France. The guide offers French readers an authoritative, comprehensive, and practical resource for understanding and exploring China. Endorsed by BOC, it is a collaboration between the China National Tourist Office in Paris and the renowned French travel publisher Petit Futé.

In May 2024. BOC sponsored a cultural salon in Singapore to promote China's tea culture, industry, and technology.

Jan 6-7, 2023, a New Year concert sponsored by BOC was jointly presented by iSING! Suzhou and the Philadelphia Orchestra in New York, Philadelphia, and other major cities in the United States. Fifteen singers from 10 countries passionately performed newly composed songs based on famous poems in the Tang Dynasty (618-907).
