The opening concert of the 2024 China-France Year of Culture and Tourism was held at the Royal Opera in the Palace of Versailles in Paris on Jan 31, 2024. 

Organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China and supported by Bank of China, the event brought together approximately 500 distinguished guests from political, economic, cultural, and tourism sectors of both countries.

Coinciding with the 60th anniversary of their diplomatic relations in 2024, China and France have jointly inaugurated the China-France Year of Culture and Tourism. Throughout the year, the two nations will collaborate on hundreds of events spanning performing arts, visual arts to cultural heritage, and tourism promotion.

As a strategic partner of the event, Bank of China has leveraged its financial services to foster a new chapter of Sino-French friendship. 

With nearly four decades of operations in France, BOC Paris Branch has evolved from the first Chinese financial institution to enter the French market into a key participant in the country's financial sector, contributing significantly to strengthening economic and trade ties between the two nations.
