Bank of China was instrumental in the success of the 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), which concluded at Shougang Park in Beijing on Sept 14.
Since 2021, BOC has been the exclusive global partner from the banking sector for CIFTIS, consistently collaborating with the fair. This year, the bank continued to utilize its group resources, supporting the event from pre-exhibition recruitment and promotion to on-site activities, and providing comprehensive financial services throughout the process.

With its global service network, BOC helped CIFTIS expand global partnerships by facilitating international promotional roadshows in cities including London, Paris, and Tokyo, as well as various locations within China.
In addition to services, the bank set up two exhibition booths and hosted a number of key activities at the fair. At its main exhibition booth, BOC used interactive displays to showcase how its overseas institutions support global trade and economic development, highlighting its robust cross-border financial service capabilities. It launched several new solutions, including a digitalized shipping fee payment solution, an insurance product developed by BOC Insurance for the low-altitude economy industry value chain, and a global intelligent treasury management system.
The bank's comprehensive treasury service solution was recognized by CIFTIS as a model for empowering enterprises in their international ventures.

In response to the growing inbound tourism market, BOC created a special exhibition area showcasing new products such as CUBe Card and BOC Compass app. The CUBe Card is a SIM card integrating services of communication, digital RMB payment, and transportation applications in Beijing, while the BOC Compass app offers an all-in-one guide, from financial services to daily essentials, for international visitors in China. Additionally, the bank offered a one-stop service for departure tax refunds upon purchase, pioneering the cross-city service between Beijing and Tianjin.

Within the financial theme exhibition area, BOC's booth displayed a variety of innovative service cases, including its digitalization campaign to promote paperless trade services, the launch of Jingmaoxing, an international trade platform in the Beijing Daxing Airport Economic Zone, and its joint incentive policies for authorized economic operator (AEO) enterprises. These initiatives underscore the bank's commitment to supporting Beijing's high-quality development and bolstering the capital's establishment of a new open economic system.
