In Singapore
The Singapore branch partnered with the Singapore Chinese Orchestra for a Chinese New Year Lunchtime Concert, which included the piece Gallant Steed in honor of the Year of the Horse. A Spring Festival-themed exhibition followed, with calligraphers writing fu characters — symbols of good fortune — for attendees. On the third day of Chinese New Year, a traditional caiqing (greens-plucking) lion dance brought in hundreds of employees and visitors. The event highlighted the enduring appeal of traditional Chinese culture through ink art and festive dance.

In Panama
The Panama branch hosted the 2026 Spring Festival Gala for Chinese-funded Enterprises, gathering more than 260 expatriate staff members and their families. The program included Xinjiang and fan dances, original sketches, and a closing chorus of Blessing My Motherland.

In the United Kingdom
The London branch has supported "The Icebreakers" Chinese New Year Dinner for 13 consecutive years. Around 500 guests from the UK-China political and business communities attended. The evening had a lion dance, the folk piece Horse Racing, and interactive robotics — a blend of heritage and modern technology. The branch also supported Chinese New Year events in London, Manchester, and other cities.

In Portugal
On Chinese New Year's Eve, the Lisbon branch held cultural activities, including writing Spring Festival couplets and making dumplings.

In South Africa
As part of the China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges events, the Johannesburg branch hosted a "Happy Chinese New Year" activity that highlighted its role as an RMB clearing bank. Artists Yu Kuizhi and Li Shengsu, from the China National Peking Opera Company, performed excerpts from The Fourth Son Visiting His Mother and The Drunken Beauty, showing the heritage and contemporary appeal of Peking Opera. The Happy Chinese New Year Concert 2026 — Auckland was held at the Great Hall of the Auckland Town Hall. Through performances of symphonic music, opera excerpts, Chinese folk music, and Maori musical elements, the concert highlighted the heritage and inclusive spirit of Chinese culture.

In China
The Macao branch held a "BOC Family Reunion" event attended by 2,000 employees and their families. The gathering had interactive calligraphy experiences and fun games, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere.
