From June 9 to 11, Ge Haijiao, chairman of Bank of China, met separately in Shanghai with Gabriel Galípolo, president of the central bank of Brazil; Ásgeir Jónsson, governor of the Central Bank of Iceland; Santiago Bausili, president of the Central Bank of Argentina; and Narantsogt Sanjaa, governor of the Central Bank of Mongolia. They exchanged views on the global macroeconomic outlook and discussed a range of topics, including investment in RMB-denominated assets and the deepening of bilateral financial cooperation. Liu Chenggang, executive vice president of BOC, also attended relevant meetings.
