Bank of China Backs 'Nihao! China' Reception for Chinese Arts Week in New York

The "Nihao! China" Reception for Chinese Arts Week recently took place at Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, New York. Bank of China supported the event with its financial services, helping to create a harmonious cultural exchange between the two countries.

As a key event for Lincoln Center's Summer for the City festival, the reception was co-hosted by the China International Culture Association (CICA) and the China National Tourist Office, New York, with strong backing from the Chinese Consulate General in New York and BOC, the strategic partner of CICA. Around 200 representatives of various sectors, including culture, arts, tourism, and the media from both China and the US, gathered to witness the charm of Chinese culture.

BOC has been involved in Sino-US cultural exchanges many times now. It supported the "Written in the Sky: My China Story" special cultural event in the US, and collaborated with the Philadelphia Orchestra to hold the special anniversary concert of the orchestra’s China tour in 1973, to celebrate 50 years of friendship.

BOC was also deeply involved in the "United as One World Voices of Peace" Film Concert to convey a vision of goodwill, and supported the Kuliang Forum, an event to celebrate century-old Sino-US friendship that retains contemporary significance.

BOC will continue its efforts to foster deep connections in artistic exchanges, youth visits, and integration of culture and tourism. It will bring more Chinese cultural treasures to the world and invite more US friends to gain a real, multifaceted, and panoramic view of China, leveraging its financial strength to nurture the enduring friendship between the two countries.
