Electronic Statement Service


 

Introduction

To make our banking more accessible and convenient for our customers, we offer an electronic statement service from 29th March 2021. This service provides a faster and safer way to access your bank statement. Electronic Statement is an electronic version of your account(s) statement(s) in PDF format that can be downloaded from BOC Internet Banking or Mobile Banking. With Electronic Statement, you can easily store, view and download your BOC UK bank statements anytime.

How to Set Up Electronic Statements

You can set up your electronic statement via internet or mobile banking.

A. Set up via internet banking

After you login to your internet account,

1.Go to “Statement Service Setup” menu.

2.Click the button of “Statement Service Setting”.

3.Select the relevant account and statement period.

4.Click the confirm button, the electronic statement service will be set successfully.

B. Set up via mobile banking

After you login to your mobile banking account,

(If your app version is older than 5.2.7, please visit the App Store (iOS) or Google Play(Android) to update your app and gain access to the electronic statement service)

1.Select "More" on homepage.

2.Click on "eStatement Settings" under "View Accounts" menu.

3.Select the relevant account and statement period.

4.Click the confirm button, the electronic statement service will be set successfully on your mobile banking.

1.Enter the menu of "Accounts".

2.Click on "eStatement Settings".

3.Select the relevant account and statement period.

4.Click the confirm button, the electronic statement service will be set successfully on your mobile banking.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. What will happen to my paper statement if I set up the electronic statement?

A: After you have successfully switched to electronic statement you will no longer receive paper statement. If you need to switch to paper statement or need any paper statements, please see Question 4.

2. How to view and download my electronic statement?

A: You can view and download your statements in PDF format via “My Accounts”> “Account Statement Service” on internet banking. Or via “Accounts”> “View eStatement”> “Account”> “Statement Period Range”> “Enquiry” on mobile banking (version 5.2.7 or above) at any time. Please note that your latest statement will only be available to view and download two days after the system generated statement date E.g.: If your electronic statement is generated on 31st March 2024, you can view and download it from the night of 2nd April 2024.

3. How long will the historic statements be stored in my internet and mobile banking?

A: You can access up to 3 years of historic statements commencing from the time you enrolled for the electronic statement service. You will not be able to view any historic statements prior to your enrolment to electronic statement.

4. What could I do when I need paper statement?

A: If you need a paper copy of your statement or wish to receive paper statements, you can visit your local branch with the required identification documents or call our 24-hour customer service hotline on 0800 389 5566 (from UK) or on +44 20 72828926 (from overseas). Our staff will be happy to assist you.
