7月29日，中国银行董事长葛海蛟在中国银行总行大厦会见印度尼西亚央行副行长托马斯·吉万多诺、印度尼西亚国家石油公司总裁西蒙·阿洛伊修斯·曼蒂里一行，围绕深化中印尼经贸合作、推动印尼离岸人民币市场发展和进一步发挥人民币清算行作用等话题深入交流。中国银行副行长杨军、印度尼西亚驻华副大使梁玉宁参加会见。

各方一致表示，将深化在人民币融资和跨境交易、金融市场基础设施建设等领域的互惠合作，拓展本币结算应用场景，支持印尼人民币市场生态建设，助力双边经贸金融合作迈上新台阶。

Ge Haijiao Meets with Djiwandono, Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia and Mantiri, President Director of PT Pertamina

On July 29, Ge Haijiao, Chairman of Bank of China Limited, met with Thomas A.M. Djiwandono, Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia and Simon Aloysius Mantiri, President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero), at the Bank’s Head Office in Beijing. They held in-depth discussions on deepening China-Indonesia economic and trade cooperation and promoting the development of Indonesia’s offshore RMB market as well as the local RMB clearing bank. Yang Jun, Executive Vice President of Bank of China Limited and Irene M. Han, Deputy Ambassador of Indonesia to China, also attended the meeting.
All parties agreed to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in areas such as RMB financing, cross-border transactions, and financial market infrastructure construction. They would also work together to expand the use cases for Local Currency Transaction and facilitate growth of the RMB market ecosystem in Indonesia, helping move the bilateral economic, trade and financial cooperation to the next level.
